Less than 24-hours after, Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy suggested he didn’t “think anybody is questioning the legitimacy of the presidential election” more than 120 retired United States Generals and Admirals wrote a letter to Joe Biden, questioning just that.
The letter written by the Flag Officers 4 America members warned that “our nation is in deep peril.” It said, “We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776.”

The retired military leaders, which includes at least one medal of honor recipient, blamed the “Democrat Party welcoming Socialist and Marxists” for U.S. election integrity issues in the 2020 election.
They wrote, “Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people,’ our Constitutional Republic is lost. Election integrity demands ensuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen.” The officers called the Democrats’ need to call voter I.D. laws’ racists’ an “attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections.” The letter accused such attempts as being “a tyrannical intimidation tactic.”
The group identified Democrats’ election reform bill, known as H.R. 1 in the House, S.R. 1 in the Senate, and affectionately by Republicans as “The Corrupt Politicians Act” or “Welfare for Politicians Act,” as legislation that “would destroy election fairness.” In addition, the letter says that the bill would “allow Democrats to forever remain in power, violating our Constitution and ending our Representative Republic.”
“Aside from the election,” the letter reads, “the Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed.”
Speaking to Biden, and likely any Americans reading, the group pleads to “support” elected officials “who will act to counter Socialism, Marxism and Progressivism, support our Constitutional Republic and insist on fiscally responsible governing.”
Flag Officers 4 America also addressed “additional national security issues.” For example, the southern board, China, censorship of U.S. citizens, the Iran Nuclear Deal, the Keystone Pipeline, and Biden’s mental condition are among the issues the officers claim “jeopardize national security.”
It states, “Open borders jeopardize national security by increasing human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorists entry, health/CV19 dangers, and humanitarian crises.” They want Biden to “reestablish border controls and continue building the wall while supporting our dedicated border control personnel.”
“China is the greatest external threat to America,” it warned. The letter argues that Biden’s passive and sometimes submissive approach to the Chinese Communist Party “emboldens them to continue to progress toward world domination.” Therefore, the officers insist the federal government “impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests.”
“The free flow of information is critical to the security of our Republic,” the letter reads. They argued that the inclusion of “the press in the 1st Amendment of our Constitution” is proof of our country’s commitment to the “freedom of speech.”
“Censoring speech and expression, distorting speech, spreading disinformation by government officials, private entities, and the media is a method to suppress the free flow of information, a tyrannical technique used in closed societies,” it said. “We must counter this on all fronts beginning with removing Section 230 protection from big tech.”
The letter argued that Americans could no longer ignore the mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief. “He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night. Recent Democrat leadership’s inquiries, about nuclear code procedures, sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear-armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge.” They wrote, “We must always have an unquestionable chain of command.”
The letter finished by urging “all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and or national level to elect political representatives who will act to Save America, our Constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable. The “will of the people” must be heard and followed.”
