Adam Schiff Spun Up Over Trump’s Release from Twitter Jail

U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA)

While it’s not news when a politician lies, some politicians, like the infamous U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), raise lying to an art form. So much so reporters don’t have to preface Schiff’s lies with “alleged?” That’s because, just one example, he said he had evidence former President Donald Trump “colluded” with the Russians. But he’s never produced it, and if he had it, there’s no way Schiff wouldn’t have shown it.

As reported by Rebecca Downs at Townhall, “Former President Donald Trump was once again the subject of this week’s Sunday shows, not only because of his announcement from Tuesday night that he is once more running for president but because Elon Musk on Saturday night made the decision to reinstate his Twitter account. Few were more hysterical than Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who serves on the January 6 select committee and was named the lead impeachment manager in Trump’s first impeachment.”

During an interview on This Week with Jonathan Karl, Adam Schiff listed a litany of supposed “lies” Trump told about Jan. 6th, 2020. But Schiff seems incapable of embarrassment, shame, or recognizing irony.

This Week tweeted, “It is a ‘terrible mistake’ for Twitter’s Elon Musk to reinstate former Pres. Trump’s account, Jan. 6 Committee member Rep. Adam Schiff tells @JonKarl. ‘The president used that platform to incite that attack on the Capitol.’” Which is another lie.

However, Schiff completely ignores Trump’s tweets that trash his preferred fake narrative. As Lara Logan recently tweeted:

Betraying no secrets, regarding the Jan. 6th committee circus, Schiff said, “I think the evidence is there to make a referral.” Of course, he does.

Schiff is not only miffed by Trump’s Twitter restoration but also that House Speaker-designate Kevin McCarthy is about to sack him, from his position on the incongruously named (as long as he was a member) House Intelligence Committee.
