Alaskan Airlines Goes Woke With Gender Neutral Uniforms

Alaskan Airlines is the latest corporate company to jump on the woke bandwagon. The airlines announced that they will be developing “New, gender-neutral uniform pieces” for flight attendants and workers.

Their updated policies allow for any employee to wear fingernail polish and makeup. The airline will also allow employees to wear up to two earrings in each ear and a nose stud ring. The airline stated, “It’s all about making sure “everyone can bring their best and most authentic selves to work and to be an inclusive and welcoming environment for employees and guests alike.”

In addition to the new dress codes, the airlines rolled out personal pronoun pins that employees can add to their uniforms. These pins allow employees to add in their preferred pronouns, like he, she, or they. One of their Washington D.C. employees said:

“I answer to all pronouns. I accept he/him/his, she/her/hers, and they/them/theirs. I feel that there has been greater awareness and sensitivity to personal pronouns, and I love that. But I’m also cognizant that changes take time and I want our society to feel comfortable with how they view and communicate with me.”

Alaskan Airlines was accused of discriminating against non-binary, gender non-conforming individuals about one year ago.
