Biden Uses Racially Charged Slur While Speaking About American Satchel Paige

During a speech honoring Veterans Day, Joe Biden told the story of Hall of Fame pitcher Satchel Paige calling him a “great negro pitcher.” Paige played professional baseball (in the Negro League Baseball and Major League Baseball) until his retirement at the age of 59.

“Thank you for your service to our country. I want to tell you, I know you are a little younger than I am, but I have adopted the attitude of the great negro at the time – pitcher in the Negro league who went on to become a great pitcher in the pros, in the MLB after Jackie Robison, his name is Satchel Paige,” said Biden

The shock from Conservatives, who have questioned Biden’s propensity for racial gaffes in the past, came quickly with Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, the first to tweet in response.

Almost immediately, Eric Trump tweeted, “Did Biden just say what I think he said?!”

This racially charged speech comes after Biden is being laughed at in England for awkwardly “loudly” passed gas in the presence of Prince Charles’ wife, The Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles. The Duchess reportedly can’t quit talking about it, going as far as telling people that the “long fart” was “impossible to ignore.”
