Biden’s Vaccine Mandate Could Cost $700,000 in Fines for Non-Compliance

Biden mandated that all companies with over 100 employees must require vaccination from Covid 19. Biden uses the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to validate what many call a tyrannical Executive Order.

OSHA took the authority and unsuccessfully began fining companies close to $14,000 for not complying with the vaccine mandate. The agency said the fines didn’t improve compliance. “OSHA has been limited in its ability to impose penalties high enough to motivate the very large employers who are unlikely to be deterred by penalty assessments of tens of thousands of dollars.”

If spending $3.5 trillion after an economically devastating 18-months and OSHA planning to fine companies $14,000 for vaccine non-compliance doesn’t frighten you before Halloween, maybe Congress’ plan to enforce Biden’s vaccine mandate for companies with over 100 employees through more monetary fines will.

In the 2,465 pages of the ‘Build Back Better Act,’ Congress will fine companies who don’t comply with the Orwellian vaccine mandates. On page 168 of the Democrats’ reconciliation spending bill, Congress says it will fine American companies as much as $70,000 for a single infraction. And if Congress deems a company is “willfully and repeatedly” violating the mandate, the company could be fined $700,000.

“Any employer who willfully or repeatedly violates the requirements of section 654 of this title, any standard, rule, or order promulgated pursuant to section 655 of this title, or regulations prescribed pursuant to this chapter may be assessed a civil penalty of not more than $70,000 for each violation, but not less than $5,000 for each willful violation.

Any employer who has received a citation for a serious violation of the requirements of section 654 of this title, of any standard, rule, or order promulgated pursuant to section 655 of this title, or of any regulations prescribed pursuant to this chapter, shall be assessed a civil penalty of up to $7,000 for each such violation.”

These fines are for each instance, and Congress is allowing no monetary limit as to what they can fine private businesses for not forcing their employees to vaccinate for employment.

Forbes reports that the penalties are adjusted for inflation by OSHA. “The fines are not actually capped at $70,000 and $7,000, but $136,532 and $13,653 per violation. If fines would increase to $700,000 for willful and repeated violations and $70,000 for serious violations.”
