CNN Continues to Drop in Ratings Since Trump Left Office

CNN is having a terrible time with its ratings since President Trump left office. The majority of their programming consisted of screeching at the camera a litany of perceived impeachable offenses that Trump had possibly committed that day. This fed their brainwashed viewers the vitriol they needed to hate anyone who would dare support the man.

Fox News reported that the recently released Nielsen data shows CNN is floundering without Trump. CNN has been exposed multiple times by Project Veritas over the past couple of months, as well as numerous examples of them explaining away incidents from Jeffrey Toobin and Chris Cuomo.

Cuomo’s CNN show called “Cuomo Prime Time” struggled to register on the scale compared to its two more successful competitors. In the same time slot as Cuomo, Sean Hannity’s show on Fox reached 2.3 million viewers, and Rachel Maddow’s show on MSNBC had 1.6 million viewers.

Cuomo Prime Time didn’t even scratch a million viewers, settling with only 872,000. The Fox report says that even when his brother Andrew Cuomo was accused of sexual misconduct, Chris Cuomo’s show had only 930,000 viewers.

But Chris Cuomo wasn’t the only Fox show that suffered under the multiple scandals and the lake of a President Trump. CNN has reportedly seen a 73% decline in viewers since Biden took office. “CNN’s primetime lineup averaged just 858,000 viewers,” Fox reported.

The most significant contrast in the Trump versus Biden years is certainly not the ratings. However, it is funny that CNN held a town hall with President Biden, and it only averaged 1.5 million viewers.

In contrast, Trump’s town hall with Sean Hannity on Fox gathered 3.54 million viewers, and Trump doesn’t have the benefit of being President of the United States. MSN reported, “Hannity was most-watched in both total viewers, with 3.54 million, and in the valuable demographic of viewers age 25-54, with 550,000—marking a 25% uptick in total viewers for the show, and also beating all broadcast primetime shows.”

Fox reports that Biden’s town hall “was beaten by almost every Fox News and MSNBC primetime program.” Even Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox beat CNN’s Biden town hall with 2.87 million viewers.
