According to The Epoch Times, the University of California-Irvine School of Medicine has fired its director of ethics, Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, a professor of psychiatry, after he took an ethical stance against “vaccine” mandates.
This is another illustration of the ramifications of federal, some state, local governments’, and the medical establishment’s denials that millions of Americans have a natural immunity to the CCP virus.
The Epoch Times, in other reporting, also cited a study from the Washington University School of Medicine that, “If you’ve had COVID-19, even a mild case… you’re likely to be immune for life, as is the case with recovery from many infectious agents….”
On Dec. 16, at Substack, Dr. Kheriaty wrote, “Farewell, University of California.”
He began the missive by noting his position as a long-time professor and the medical school’s ethics director. Dr. Kheriaty also wrote, “Two years ago, I never could have imagined that the University would dismiss me and other doctors, nurses, faculty, staff, and students for this arbitrary and capricious reason.”
The University of California sent Dr. Kheriaty a letter stating they were terminating his employment.
Dr. Kheriaty claims the letter says:
“After considering your response I have made my final decision. Pursuant to APM-150, this letter constitutes UC Irvine’s written Notice of Action to institute dismissal prior to the end date of your appointment, and subject to the corrective action of suspension without pay during any grievance of your dismissal.”
It appears the university fired their ethics director for doing his job: guiding staff in matters of medical ethics. Forcing individuals to take medicine they don’t want, or need, seems a subject for ethical discussion.
Dr. Kheriaty has taken the issue to federal court, suing the U of Cal Board of Regents. Dr. Kheriaty alleges “the university’s vaccine mandate violates… the 14th Amendment….”
The lawsuit states, “The equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment… requires a state to treat an individual in the same manner as others in similar conditions and circumstances. The Fourteenth Amendment further recognizes and guarantees fundamental rights and liberty interests of personal autonomy and bodily integrity.”
The professor contracted Covid in July 2020, so he argues he now has natural immunity, which he asserts has superior protection compared to the “vaccine,” as mentioned above. His lawsuit is currently wending its way in federal court.

Is it ironic the left is becoming more fascist as time passes? Did the Nazis claim a group of people (the Jews) were responsible fo passing along diseases and thus needed to be herded into camps? And how is that different from what our illustrious lefty leadership is doing today? Just replaced “Jew” with “unvaxxed”…
