Wisconsin sees more tragedy after a mad man drove through police barricades plowing into the Waukesha Christmas parade. The attack killed five people, injuring 40 more on Sunday afternoon at around 4:39 p.m at Asper Ave and Main Street. The red SUV was caught barrelling through the production with no care for human life on the city’s live stream of their Christmas parade.

Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson addressed the press Sunday evening, crediting a 6-year Waukesha Police Department veteran for stopping the driver by discharging his weapon. Chief Thompson said among the injured were women and children, but the police department would not release specific victim information at that time.

Chief Thompson said that Waukesha Fire Department, Police Department, and civilians valiantly transported the suspect’s victims to the hospital for emergency care. “We are no longer looking for a suspect vehicle. We do have a person of interest in custody at the moment, but this is still a very fluid investigation,” said Chief Thompson.

The man in custody is reported to be Darrell E. Brooks (39) is a black male rapper from the area. Reporter Andy Ngo began uncovering information on Darrell Brooks that shows he aligned himself with pro-BLM causes, including George Floyd and hating former President Trump.

Brooks was also a registered sex offender in the state of Nevada, where Ngo reports that Brooks defended “having sex with a child” by claiming that he was just “pimping the ‘hoe.'”

In archived posts made on Brooks’ alleged social media accounts, he claimed to get away with running people over in the street; all one has to do is: “Run them over. Keep traffic flowing, and don’t slow down for any of these idiots.”

The attack doesn’t seem political in nature, and some unconfirmed reports claim that Darrell Brooks was fleeing a separate crime scene at the time of the brutal attack. Brooks was released just two days before through Wisconsin’s progressive cash bail system.

Local Assistant District Attorney (ADA) John Chisholm is receiving Conservative ire for pushing progressive criminal justice policies that allow violent criminals like Brooks out on a low cash bond free to continue to commit malice attacks in the community.

Some of Chisholm’s tweets from 2018 praising Milwaukee County’s pre-trial detention reform. “We have really made a commitment to not keeping individuals held unnecessarily on cash bail in the Milwaukee County Jail.”

As the spotlight moves from the freedom for Kyle Rittenhouse to the tragedy at the Christmas parade, Wisconsin Prosecutors will continue to stay under the microscope. Wisconsin’s Governor Tony Evers steered clear of political statements calling the attack a “senseless act.”

Gov. Evers tweeted, “Kathy and I are praying for Waukesha tonight and all the kids, families, and community members affected by this senseless act. I’m grateful for the first responders and folks who acted quickly to help, and we are in contact with local partners as we await more information.”
