Former Dem-Soc PM: Italy’s New PM Meloni No Threat to Democracy

Italian Elections 2022

Italy’s incoming Prime Minister Georgia Meloni is an infusion of positive energy into the resistance to big government Socialism/Marxism tyranny in Europe and the U.S.

Meloni’s stunning win last week, after an election that most lucid people recognize as democracy, has big government leftists wailing and gnashing their teeth about the death of democracy—because they lost.

Warnings about Meloni and her followers’ supposed affinity for infamous fascist dictator Benito Mussolini, as reported at TTR, saturated mainstream media in the U.S. and abroad. As in the U.S., if you run afoul of radical leftists, you’re not a political opponent but a right-wing terrorist.

New Italian PM Georgia Meloni

Katie Pavlich, at Townhall, wrote, “Speaking during a Democratic Governors Association reception and fundraiser in Washington D.C. Wednesday night, President Joe Biden compared Italy’s new and conservative prime minister Giorgia Meloni to Chinese dictator Xi Jinping….”

A major western nation and U.S. ally, and instead of congratulations, Joe Biden compares their new leader to the world’s preeminent communist dictator.

With the same motto as new U.S. Rep. Mayra Flores’s (R-TX) motto, “God, Country, Family,” critics cast Meloni as a “threat to democracy.” Oddly, again, that was after the voters had elected her.

But one significant critic refuses to follow the leftist haters. According to a tweet from Kreately.in “Matteo Renzi: ex Italian PM, a liberal, yet shuts up CNN, who cried Mussolini at her!

“Personally I was against Giorgia Meloni, I’m not her best friend, we are rivals but she is not a danger to democracy, the idea there is a risk of fascism in Italy is absolutely fake news.”

Renzi’s comments are just as welcome to liberty-minded Americans and Europeans as is Meloni’s election victory.
