Liberal Journalist and Former Clinton WH Adviser to Republicans: I’m Sorry

Dr. Naomi Wolf

Woah

The open letter of apology, like the one from former Clinton White House adviser Dr. Naomi Wolf, is a rarity. This liberal journalist’s bearing her soul so raw yet so sublime with a sincere apology will warm Republicans with a sense of vindication and challenge Democrats’ 1/6 truth-resistance.

The Epoch Times reported, Wolf apologized after believing what she described as lies about the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach.

Wolf begins, “There is no way to avoid this moment. The formal letter of apology. From me. To Conservatives and to those who ‘put America first’ everywhere.”

The contrite journalist credits her mea culpa with Kevin McCarthy’s release of 14,000 hours of previously unreleased footage from the U.S. Capitol on 1/6 to FOX News’s Tucker Carlson.”

In it, she chastises both Senate leaders, Chuck Schumer (D) and Mitch McConnell (R), for criticizing its release but never challenging its truth.

Though Wolf disagrees with some of Carlson’s characterizations, she says that doesn’t matter. His releasing the footage, providing the full context to the events of 1/6, is what is crucial.

She highlighted the “legacy media” and Democrat leaders’ lies that Officer Brian Sicknick was murdered on 1/6. Wolf notes he died two days later from “natural causes.”

She learned this from Carlson’s reporting because she said the legacy media she’d relied on for this and other information didn’t report the truth.

She conceded that she may not like former President Donald Trump because of all the lies told by the legacy media.

Wolf provides a history lesson of access to “The People’s House.” She recounts events more violent and serious than 1/6. This included Calvin Coolidge using the Army, Gen. George S. Patton, no less, to clear the Capitol of a massive, unruly crowd (WWI vets with a legitimate beef).

Wolf concludes her stunning apology:

I am sorry the nation was damaged by so much untruth issued by those with whom I identified at the time.

I am sorry my former “tribe” is angry at a journalist for engaging in —- journalism.

I am sorry I believed so much nonsense.

Though it is no doubt too little, too late —

Conservatives, Republicans, MAGA:

I am so sorry.
