Liberal Puppets Urge FBI to Investigate Mandate Protests

The Democrat administration is helping to fabricate a political narrative against parents (voters/taxpayers) who protest at school board meetings against CRT or mask and mRNA injection mandates. Opponents are labeling protesters “anti-vaxxers” and reject the notion they are “anti-mandate.”

But the contrast between the DOJ’s interest in these school board protesters compared with the leftist rioters who recently perpetrated such destruction and violence is stark. Regardless, the school boards have asked the DOJ to have the FBI investigate these American parents.

Parents are upset with the proliferation of schools teaching CRT and government CCP virus mandates — even for children. Mr. Biden referred to these concerned parents as people “intimidating” school boards. They’ve also extended their protests to outside schools.

A 19-second video on Twitter shows a mom walking on a sidewalk telling another mom, “You’ve been propagandized and told lies.” She remains calm while the other woman shouts, “that’s my choice, that’s my child,” which, ironically, seems to be the point of the first woman.

John Scott-Railton, who posted the video, wrote, “INFURIATING: anti-vaxxers chasing children & parents outside [an] elementary school.”

This comment encapsulates an apparent partisan push to label protesting parents “domestic terrorists” to activate the DOJ FBI to investigate patently local issues.

Scott-Railton even made a comparison about parent protesters looking “a lot like the Westboro Baptist Church,” which is a group known for their hatred of homosexuals and for protesting American service members’ funerals.

That mom protester might be annoying, but “threatening?” And even if the mom’s behavior did escalate to harassment — a crime — this would not require an FBI investigation.

However, the DOJ announced it will investigate parents’ behaviors at these events as “domestic extremism.” They’re sending the FBI to meet with local law enforcement “to discuss strategies for addressing this disturbing trend.”

CRT critic Christopher Rufo tweeted, “The National School Board Association [NSBA] asked the feds to crack down on anti-critical race theory protests as ‘domestic terrorism.’” The Associated Press “fact-checked” Rufo’s claim, and, according to FOX News, “listed the claim as ‘false.’ ”

But the NSBA’s letter to the DOJ reads, “As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”

Former NYPD officer and U.S. Secret Service agent Dan Bongino commented AG Merrick Garland has no authority locally, and he knows it, but he’s doing it, anyway. Bongino likened the DOJ’s attempt to “police” local school board meetings to the feds enforcing traffic stops on interstate highways. It’s simply not within the federal government’s constitutional purview.

Bongino told his audience that the “totalitarian overreach” violates the First Amendment is clear. It’s meant to intimidate and chill parents who simply want to exercise their God-given, not government-given, rights.

Some opponents diminish the protests, asserting they are driven by “GOP megadonors.” Nevertheless, the DOJ’s response has been inconsistent, especially because, historically, Democrats protest at the least little real or imagined provocation. Republicans, it seems, require an act of God even to write a strongly worded letter. So, conservatives protesting is evidence it’s genuine, not “astroturf.”

People have been concerned with increasing federal influence in local policing. Some have warned against accepting federal money because the strings attached provide leverage to quasi-federalize local law enforcement.

If the DOJ/FBI had no place investigating the hundreds of violent protests across the nation over the past year and a half, then it’s hard to argue it has a mandate to investigate upset parents simply venting concerns to their local elected school board officials.
