Marjorie Taylor Greene Files Articles of Impeachment Against President Biden

On August 20, Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) announced she introduced three impeachment resolutions against Joe Biden. Rep. MTG said the articles are “for his dereliction of duty in Afghanistan, his violations of immigration law causing a national security crisis on our Southern Border, and his usurping of Congressional power by ignoring the Supreme Court of the United States.”

Rep. MTG said that impeaching a president is a “process no one wants to go through, but it is a necessary process for the safety and security of the country and the American people.”

“We are a nation in distress. Our foreign allies and even our own citizens can no longer trust our government in the hands of Joe Biden. It’s the duty of Congress to hold the president accountable when he puts our nation at risk and ignores the rule of law,” argued the Georgia Representative.

In a press conference with Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, Rep. MTG said her calls for “every single one, especially Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” to resign are not political. She insisted that every American has been let down by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, regardless of Republican or Democrat.

Now with the terrorist attack against our troops and American citizens at the Kabul airport in Afghan, which left 12 Marines and one Navy Medic killed in action, Rep. MTG is renewing her call, and many more Republicans are joining her.

Former White House doctor and current United States Representative from Texas, Ronny Jackson, tweeted, “If President Trump can be impeached over a phone call, then the time has come to IMPEACH Biden for gross negligence in Afghanistan. Americans deserve better. We deserve better than someone who willfully IGNORES the WORST crisis in decades.”

But he wasn’t the only one.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn used her Twitter account to call on more than the removal of Joe Biden. She wrote, “Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Antony Blinken, Lloyd Austin, and General Milley should all resign or face impeachment and removal from office.”

Sen. Josh Hawley also released a statement via his Twitter calling on Joe Biden to resign.

He wrote: “Our nation is forever indebted to the brave Marines who made the ultimate sacrifice today. And we remember as well the innocent Afghanis who needlessly perished. Joe Biden has now overseen the deadliest day for the US troops in Afghanistan in over a decade, and the crisis grows worse by the hour.”

Sen. Hawley’s statement continued urging Americans to “reject the falsehood peddles by a feckless president that this was the only option for withdrawal. This is the product of Joe Biden’s catastrophic failure of leadership. It is now painfully clear he has neither the will nor the capacity to lead.”

“He must resign,” said Sen. Hawley.

South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan tweeted his support of Rep. MTG’s impeachment resolution, saying, “It is time to take action and remove the sitting President from office due to his gross negligence that undermined our national security, led to the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, and resulted in a grave humanitarian crisis.”

Two other representatives also joined Rep. MTG in her calls to impeach Joe Biden, Rep. Harshbarger, and Rep. Harris.
