Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was recorded speaking at a fundraiser in the wealthy elite hot spot of Napa Valley, California. The tickets to the event cost as much as $29,000 each.

The video is garnering backlash as it pans the crowd showing rows of maskless Democrats while the event workers were masked. Journalist Glenn Greenwald reacted, saying, “All the servants fully masked.”

Greenwald wasn’t the only commentator to react to the sea of maskless Democrats waited on by masked faces of the anonymous servers. Bethany Mandel took issue, saying, “Face masks are the new class symbol. Making all of these wait staff wear them outside while they sit close together yucking it up is quite the look.”

The Democrats being exposed for participating in classism aside, others had an issue with the timing of Nancy Pelosi’s speech. While Americans are trapped in Afghanistan, Nancy Pelosi, who is third in line to the presidency, is off speaking at a fundraising event instead of being in Washington D.C. helping aid the evacuation effort.
Representative Claudia Tenney wrote, “Joe Biden’s retreat from Afghanistan caused a full-blown humanitarian and national security crisis. Instead of working to save American lives and protect our allies, Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats are at a $29,000 per ticket fundraiser. Our nation is leaderless.”

Nancy Pelosi isn’t the only Democrat taking heat for their weekend plans. Chuck Schumer with his pal Steven Colbert was recorded dancing together backstage at an event in New York City. An unmasked Colbert and a masked Schumer were called out for seemingly not caring about the crisis in Afghanistan.
Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer is the Senate Majority Leader and, like Pelosi, should be in Washington D.C. helping bring Americans trapped in terrorist-controlled Kabul.
Veteran and candidate for U.S. Senate Sean Parnell claim that the behavior by Chuck Schumer is “embarrassing” for America.
