Pennsylvania Parents Protest After Teacher Photographed Taping Mask On Student

The mask debate in Montgomery County heats up again after North Penn School District (NPSD) was forced to issue a statement when a  co-teacher for the middle school was pictured in a viral photograph taping a black medical mask onto a minor student.

The school system did confirm the photograph was taken last week in a Montgomery County School but would not release the date it was taken or the names of anyone involved. NPSD said the incident did not represent the school’s values with both its teachers and students.

“After an immediate investigation, it was determined that while the incident was isolated and no malice was intended, the actions of the teacher were entirely inappropriate and unacceptable, no matter the context,” said NPSD. “We understand that the act of taping a mask to a student’s face is concerning to mand and apologize that it occurred.”

The statement went on to say that NPSD takes the matter seriously and has brought the issue to the co-teacher’s attention.

This did little to calm the angered community, who now plan to voice their concerns with the school and plan to speak to the School Board this Thursday, January 20.

According to Libs of TikTok, a North Penn Facebook page, North Penn Stronger Together, is calling for voices to speak at the school board meeting. The call to action said, “Pro-mask or anti-mask, I hope we can all agree that taping masks to children’s faces crosses the LINE. This was not a joke for the child or the parents.”

The Facebook post went on to ask the “North Penn Neighbors for Progress and North Penn School District to address this photo of a Pennfield Middle School co-teacher taping a mask to a child’s face to district parents and families ASAP.”

The deadline to register to speak at the North Penn board meeting hits tonight, Wednesday, January 19, at 6:00 pm. According to the post, if you want to talk at the board meeting, you much have your request to the school board secretary via email at: [email protected]

The call to action added a disclaimer reminding those who voice their concerns to remain peaceful and respectful.

  1. “The statement went on to say that NPSD takes the matter seriously and has brought the issue to the co-teacher’s attention.”
Meaning, no further action is going to be taken.
This is child abuse and the parents should sue the school and the teacher. It’s a good thing it wasn’t my child or I might be in jail right now. As parents WE have Every Right to how our children are treated and what they are taught in school. What’s next? Teachers and school boards bring back corporal punishment and spank kids in the class room in front of other students? Parents did away with that many years ago.
American schools today are failing to teach our kids what they Need to know, Math, Science, History, English and the basics to graduate so that they can find good employment, become a contributing factor to society, not a burden and one day be able to run this country. They have thrown that all away for these retarded left wing Marxist agendas, LG+24 alphabet soup alternate lifestyle crap, critical race theory, teaching of Marxism, the US is a racist White country and everything other than what we, as parents require them to teach. The school boards, the teachers unions and many of the teachers now spit in our face, call us Domestic Terrorists all because we demand that our kids be taught the 3 R’s and what an education is required to be and not some left wing garbage agenda that has nothing to do with preparing my kids for a successful life. And it gets worse in college! ENOUGH!!!
Parents, start pulling your kids out of school, boycott them. enlist friends and family to help. Take sick and vacation days off to take care of your kids. No kids in school, no classes, no pay for the school boards, schools and teachers. These clowns have don this to us many times through teacher strikes and school funding shortages. They closed the schools on us. Now it is time WE close the schools on them! Start keeping the kids home, teach them at home. It wont take long before they start to hurt in where it counts, in the money pockets. There are many online schools now that really do teach the kids far better and many are covered under the public funding.

  2. So they sued their neighbors and themselves. Will the scum parasite who was responsible suffer any costs from this suit? No. So you send your children to government indoctrination and then sue yourself when the indoctrinators are scum?!! Here is an idea. Take personal responsibility for the education of your children! Or, is it like all government wealth transfers, if you ever paid a penny in taxes you “paid in!”?
