A Harvard poll conducted on May 18-19 showed that a majority of people think Biden is too old and not mentally fit enough to be president. The poll surveyed 1,963 registered voters.
More than 70% of independents say that Biden is too old to be president. 53% of those polled believe he is not mentally fit. When broken down by race, “Fifty-seven percent of Hispanic voters, 50% of black voters, and 67% of white voters said Biden is too old.”
The Daily Caller reported:
“Nineteen percent of Democrats, 83% of Republicans, and 61% of independents said they have doubts about his mental abilities. Twenty-nine percent of Democrats, 88% of Republicans, and 72% of independents said he is too old for the presidency.”
49% of respondents believe the U.S. will head into a recession within the next year.
Among independent and Republican voters, Donald Trump is the frontrunner for 2024 at 41%. Governor Ron DeSantis sits at 12% according to the poll.
