All eyes have been on President Trump and where he will land in the world of social media after being de-platformed by every mainstream social media company a part of the Big Tech mafia. Yesterday October 20, Trump finally announced his new social media and technology company would be launching soon.
In the press release, Trump Media and Technology Group announced it entered into a “definitive merger agreement” with the media company, Digital World Acquisition Corp. This will mean that Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) will become a publically listed company.

The merger makes TMTG’s cumulative valuation of up to $1.7 Billion. The announcement stated that the move would open up avenues for free speech in America. “Trump Media and Technology Group’s mission is to create a rival to the liberal media consortium and fight back against the “Big Tech” companies of Silicon Valley, which have used their unilateral power to silence opposing voices in America.”
Under the umbrella of TMTG, Trump plans to launch a social media platform called TRUTH Social. President Trump said he “created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech.”
“We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced,” President Trump said. “This is unacceptable. I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon.”
Trump said that TMTG’s purpose is “to give a voice to all.” President Trump plans to launch TRUTH soon and will be the first to post on the site. “Everyone asks me why doesn’t someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!” said President Trump.

Don’t worry about bad blood between President Trump and his close advisor Jason Miller; there isn’t any. Miller released a statement on his popular free speech site, GETTR, praising Trump.
“Congratulations to President Trump for re-entering the social media fray! Now Facebook and Twitter will lose even more market share. President Trump has always been a great deal-maker, but we just couldn’t come to terms on a deal,” said Miller.

President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, went on Sean Hannity’s show to promote his father’s new media company. He said having TRUTH available to the people is “exciting.” Don Jr. announced the full launch of the social media company will happen in the first quarter of 2022.
“It’s going to be exciting. We are looking to give a voice back to the American people. You saw what they did to the President of the United States. We want to make sure that Americans have a voice,” said Donald Trump Jr.
