During his CPAC speech Former President Donald Trump said conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh (who succumbed to lung cancer Feb. 17) is “watching closely” and “smiling down on us.”
“I also want to pay my love and respect to the great Rush Limbaugh, who is watching closely,” Trump said early speech Sunday in Orlando, Florida. “He’s smiling down on us. He’s watching and he’s loving it.”
Trump paid tribute to Rush’s widow Kathryn Limbaugh.
“And he loves Kathryn,” Trump said. “Kathryn, thank you for being here. So great. Thank you, Kathryn. He loves you, Kathryn. I will tell you that. Oh, fantastic. Thank you, Kathryn very much.”
