President's Approval Rating Hits All Time Low

President Biden’s approval rating with the American people continues to drop. As of May 24, his approval rating dropped to 36%.

The national poll was conducted over two days and gathered responses from 1,005 adults. This included 456 Democrats and 358 Republicans. The respondents are from across the country and the survey is conducted in English.

59% of respondents disapprove of his job performance. His performance dropped 6% from the week prior when he hit a low of 42%. Biden’s approval rating has been below 50% since August 2021. His predecessor, Trump, has an all-time-low approval of 33% in 2017.

According to Reuters, “In a sign of weakening enthusiasm among Democrats, Biden’s approval rating within his own party fell to 72% from 76% the prior week. Only 10% of Republicans approve of his job in office.”
