Tragically Queen Elizabeth lost her husband and the British people their Prince. The Palace issued a statement saying, “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.”
During World War II, Prince Philip became a part of the British Royal Navy after graduating from the Royal Naval College. He was willing to give his life for his country, and in a way, he did as the longest-serving consort of a reigning British monarch. Prince Philip worked alongside his wife, The Queen, in service to the British people for more than 70 years, only retiring three years ago. He died at the age of 99.
The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.
Further announcements will be made in due course.

Prince Philip’s death comes only three weeks after he left the hospital for treatment, which included heart surgery. During which time, Meghan and Harry went on Oprah to complain of their treatment by the Royal Family.
Could you imagine giving 70 years of service to God, your family, and your country only to have some c-list celebrity marry into your family and blow up centuries of tradition? At least now, Prince Philip – who led a life of admirable service to his country – will never have to hear Meghan complain about her clothing allowance or monthly stipend.
The Duchess aired the family’s dirty Royal knickers for the entire world to see. In their public airing of family grievances, the pair claimed to be victims of racism after a family member allegedly inquired about the skin color of the couple’s mix-raced baby.
This isn’t racism.
The “deep sorrow” felt by the Queen today is undoubtedly compounded by the fact that Harry will be coming home so soon after the racism allegations brought against the Monarchy. Reports claim that Harry is preparing to fly home and will not be bringing Meghan with him.
The best thing for this family right now is not to have the weight of Meghan being there. If she were in attendance, nothing would be private, and any perceived slight will be broadcasted to the tabloids.
I hope after some time has passed, Harry realizes that he spent the last days of his Grandfather’s life tearing down everything his Grandfather spent 70 years preserving and spends the rest of his life making it up to his family.
Loyalty over everything.
