Republican Lawmakers Urge AG Garland to Enforce Federal Law

Once again, Americans expecting action from the Biden administration have careened into a justice-preventing brick wall.

According to Sara Carter, some Republicans are attempting to “pressure AG Garland…” to enforce a law prohibiting people from protesting at Supreme Court justices’ homes, including “peacefully.”

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, according to The Daily Signal, deployed state police to monitor justices’ homes, but state officials can only do so much when people violate federal law.

These behaviors used to be off-limits, even in politics. But Democrats have shredded decorum, ethics, and equal justice.

U.S. Representative Claudia Tenney (R-NY) wants “Merrick Garland to enforce the law and hold citizens accountable for targeting homes of Supreme Court Justices.”

18 U.S. Code § 1507 explicitly states people cannot picket or parade, “in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge….”

But, for Democrats, some laws (and lawbreakers) are more equal than others. In contrast to this non-enforcement of federal law, the same AG has ruthlessly enforced federal laws against mostly Jan. 6^thCapitol trespassers while virtually ignoring leftist protesters who repeatedly trashed a federal courthouse and assaulted federal cops in Portland Oregon.

But a two-tiered “justice” is nothing new. This administration has failed to enforce federal immigration laws, and it appears they’re even breaking federal laws by flying illegal immigrants all over the country.

Also, some Republicans are now accusing the federal government of hoarding baby formula at the southern border for distribution to illegal immigrant families. This while American families are scrounging to find baby formula for their own children.

Ironically, or cynically, the federal government has reportedly defended the stockpile saying they’re following federal law. Psaki cited the Flores Agreement. Townhall reported, “Border Patrol agents have been instructed not to take baby formula home for their own children.” It seems the Biden administration enforces the federal laws it likes and not those it doesn’t like.

But there’s more. Now, there are reports Merrick Garland allegedly lied to Congress when he testified he didn’t sic the DOJ and FBI on parents who oppose leftist school board agendas.
