A newly released video of the protest inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6 proves the claim that Capitol Police Officers gave protesters permission to enter the building and stay as long as the group remained peaceful.

The point-of-view recording shows United States Capitol Police officers speaking with several January 6 protestors– including Jacob Chansley, the so-called “Q-shaman”– inside the Capitol that afternoon.

The video seems to be a different narrative than the one pushed by the Democrats and their propaganda service, the legacy media. Up until now, they pushed the claim that January 6 was “worse than the Civil War,” but a Capitol Police Officer is seen on camera giving the “Q-shaman” and his group permission to enter.

“We’re not against you,” the Capitol police officer is seen saying. He warns the group that all the Capitol Police needs to see is “no attacking, no assaults” and for the group to “remain calm.”

Another man, who seems to be a leader in the Q-Shaman’s group, tells the crowd, “Listen up, the police here are willing to work with us and cooperate – like our first amendment allows.”

He continues to instruct the crowd to stay within their constitutionally protected right to peacefully protest, saying, “Gather more Americans under the condition that they will come and gather peacefully to discuss what needs to be done to save our country.”

He tells the officer while screaming as an instruction to the crowd, “We are not going to assault. We are going to be heard.” Again, he tells the crowd, “Everybody, this must be peaceful.”

The video pans to the “Q-shaman,” Jacob Chansley, who is seen backing up the other man’s calls for peaceful protests, yells to the group, “This has to be peaceful.”

“We have the right to peacefully assemble,” Chansley instructs.

American Greatness’s report identified the Capitol Police Officer in the video as Officer Keith Robishaw. The information indicated that “the video directly contradicts what government prosecutors allege in a complaint filed January 8 against Chansley: “Robishaw and other officers calmed the protestors somewhat and directed them to leave the area from the same way they have entered. Chansley approached Officer Robishaw and screamed, among other things, that this was their house and that they were there to take the Capitol and to get Congressional leaders.”

Jacob Chansley, who has been in jail since January on several counts of trespassing and disorderly conduct, has been denied bail despite the fact he has no criminal record.

Chansley became famous after a video of him entering the Senate chambers went viral. The media dubbed Q-Shaman was seen in an elaborate headpiece leading other protestors in prayer and also take a load off in Pence’s chair.

Tucker Carlson had American Greatness Senior reporter Julie Kelly on his show to answer questions about reports that the Capitol Police are fighting against any footage from January 6 released to the public.

“According to the General Counsel for the Capitol Police, there are 14,000 hours of surveillance video from January 6 just between noon and eight o’clock that day,” Kelly said.

“14,000 hours they have that would show what happened before, during, and of course after the ‘insurrection.’ They are refusing to release it, stating that this will cause the insurrectionists to plot another attack on our democracy,” she said.

Kelly warned that Joe Biden’s justice department and several federally appointed judges allow what she considers a grave miscarriage of justice to happen to the people who participated in the protest at the Capitol. She wants to know, “what are they trying to hide?”

“If this was war, if this was Pearl Harbor and 9/11, don’t you think that they would want to show the American people all this footage that they have of these “horrible human beings” attacking the citadel of our democracy?” She said it “raises a lot of questions” and that people need to be wary of the left’s usage of “hyperbolic rhetoric” when describing January 6.
