Space Force Commander Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier has been relieved of duty after comments surfaced from an appearance on L. Todd Wood’s podcast “Information Operation.” Lt. Col. Lohmeier was promoting his self-published new book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest and the Unmaking of the American Military.”
Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting reportedly sidelined Lt. Col. Lohmeier “over a loss of confidence in his ability to lead.” Lt. Col. Lohmeier was stationed at Buckley Air Force Base as the 11th Space Warning Squadron commander.
Military.com exclusively reported, “This decision was based on public comments made by Lt. Col. Lohmeier in a recent podcast,” a Space Force spokesperson said in an email. “Lt. Gen. Whiting has initiated a Command Directed Investigation on whether these comments constituted prohibited partisan political activity.”
On the podcast, Lt. Col. Lohmeier said that “the diversity, inclusion and equity industry and training [the military is] receiving is rooted in critical race theory.” Lohmeier warned that critical race theory “is rooted in Marxism.”
While promoting his book, Lt. Col. Lohmeier blamed leftist policies seeping into our national institutions – education, law enforcement, legislation – as the leading cause for division in our country.
Lohmeier said he doesn’t want to “demonize” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin for pushing particular agendas. Still, he wants “to make it clear to both him and every service member this [critical race theory] agenda; it will divide us, it will not unify us.”

After Military.com released their report detailing the shocking decision to let Lt. Col. Lohmeier go for his views against Marxism in the United States military, there was a strong push by conservatives to support the purchase of his self-published book from Amazon.

Conservatives pushed sales through the roof, and Lohmeier’s book is now comfortably sitting in the number one spot. Reporter Jack Posobiec reported, “Breaking: Book written by U.S. Space Force whistleblower on Marxism in the military becomes #1 book on all Amazon.”
Lohmeier reportedly said, “What you see happening in the U.S. military at the moment is that if you’re a conservative, then you’re lumped into a group of people who are labeled extremists if you’re willing to voice your views. And if you’re aligned with the left, then it’s OK to be an activist online because no one’s gonna hold you accountable.”
