Dinesh D’Souza, at The Daybreak Daily, recently interviewed Turning Point USA CEO and founder Charlie Kirk about what D’Souza calls “a remarkable documentary… about the border” crisis. And the brilliant documentary filmmaker should know.
Border Battle documents the Biden regime’s ongoing, self-inflicted swarm of humanity defiling America’s southern border, entering the U.S. illegally.
Kirk, who lives in Arizona and whose TPUSA is headquartered there, tells D’Souza, “I’ve been down to Nogales, I’ve been down to Yuma multiple times. And I’m always… disappointed at how the media portrays what’s happening on the border versus what’s actually happening.”
Kirk continued. “And even right-wing media gets it mostly right, but there’s a deeper story at play of how the cartel is running this like a business. About how human beings are actually the ones that are being smuggled more than drugs. And all these different kind of layers to the story.”
He examines crucial issues of which many viewers may not be aware. For example, Kirk notes that some of the various trafficking is done “sometimes in collusion with local sheriffs, local DAs, for kind of a tacit “I won’t look while you come across” type thing.”
In light of the freakout caused by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sending 50 illegal migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, Kirk emphasized, “it’s anywhere between 5,000 to 7,000 people a day that are coming into our country.”
