Vatican will Require Vaccine Green Pass for All External Employees and Visitors

The Vatican, an entity that once proclaimed that birth control disrupts God’s plan and forbade its employees and congregants from its body-altering use, is now hypocritically requiring a body-altering substance on all who step foot on their “holy” grounds.

Announced on Tuesday, all persons stepping onto Vatican property must now present a “green pass” or a negative covid test to enter the Vatican as of October 1 — including all external employees and visitors. This also includes external collaborators and “those who for any other reason carry out activities at the same bodies, to the staff of external companies and to all visitors and users.”

The Pope and the Vatican have long touted the vaccine to be the answer, having recommended it to all despite scientific evidence that it is causing problems for many people from the very start.

Earlier this year, vaccinations became required in certain areas, though the Vatican promised that the policies were “intended to allow a flexible and proportionate response while striking a balance between protecting collective health and individual freedom of choice, without being oppressive for the employee.” It seems that has gone out the proverbial window.

If employees arrive to work without the necessary documentation, they will be turned away, marked absent, and lose pay for the day. It is assumed that visitors will be turned away.

A General Decree signed by Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, states, “All employees of the Roman Curia and related institutions are required to possess the documentation indicated by the Ordinance, i.e., the vaccination certificate, the so-called green pass, or a certification of negativity to the Sars-Cov-2 virus, issued in Italy following a rapid molecular or antigenic test, with the frequency indicated by the Directorate of Health and Hygiene of the Governorate of the Vatican City State.”

The new rule insists that Italian authorities issue the certifications, with employees and visitors responsible for all costs they may incur.

It seems they haven’t totally lost their minds, leaving a small exception for those who have serious medical issues — but they’ll still have to get approval from Vatican health authorities to enter.

“Finally, the possible exemption from these documentary obligations is expected to be assessed by the Vatican Secretariat of State on the basis of the opinion of the Directorate of Health and Hygiene. Any further restrictions may be considered necessary by the competent Vatican health authorities for people from countries with a high risk of contagion.”

It’s unclear if anyone mentioned prayer before making this decree or how this will affect Catholics worldwide, particularly those attempting to use their religion to avoid mandatory vaccination.
