WATCH: Sen. Hawley Rips Biden’s DOJ For Threatening Parents Concerned About CRT In Classrooms

Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland was denied a seat on the Supreme Court after being nominated by the Obama Administration. Critics said Garland was a fanatic for the progressive cause, and Republicans couldn’t risk a partisan such as Garland on the highest court in the land.

For Parents worried about socialism, communism, and race exceptionalism taking over their child’s education, the fears of a partisan Merrick Garland are real.

Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a directive to the FBI to focus on upset parents at school boards instead of thwarting domestic terrorism. Although the FBI has never been very good at stopping mass shootings or terrorism on American soil, AG Garland understands the FBI’s effectiveness at spying on innocent Americans and is using that to silence ordinary parents.

The memo sent by AG Garland claimed that the viral videos we report on, containing passionate pleas from parents at school board meetings, are considered a “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence.”

Although the memo begrudgingly claims to support “spirited debate,” being masked, sometimes over 100 feet away or even remote with only one minute to speak, constitutes bullying.

Sen. Hawley pushed back against AG Garland directing the FBI to investigate parents who he says are simply Americans “speaking out against the radical racist ideology sometimes called “critical race theory.”

“I certainly share your view that threats of violence have no place in this country, but the backdrop of your memo strongly suggests that your concern is not violence, but democratic pushback against critical race theory,” Sen. Hawley said in his letter to AG Garland.

Hawley told Garland that using the DOJ and FBI against concerned parents shortly after Biden received a complaint from the National School Board Association is partisan by definition and “alarming.”

“The letter denounced as “propaganda” the criticism that schools are pushing critical race theory into classrooms,” said Hawley. He called the National School Board Association’s letter to Biden “pure gaslighting.”

It should come as a surprise that Democrat and head of the nation’s largest teachers union, American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Randi Weingarten, tweeted support for AG Garland and his decision to go after parents. “This is an important move from the DOJ. You can disagree with school boards and teachers without violence. And the rise in violence is a terrifying problem,” Weingarten said.

Christopher Rufo, who has been leading the charge against CRT in classrooms, said it’s time for American parents to “hold the line.” He said, “When we mounted the attack against critical race theory, we hit the regime at its ideological nerve center. Now the regime is trying to reassert control.”

Hold the line.
