Darrell Brooks Jr. is the suspect in the horrific Waukesha parade massacre, where he allegedly killed six and injured 62 more. In the days since the heinous attack, reports indicate that Brooks led a life filled with anti-White sentiment and violent behavior, including attempting to mow down the mother of his child with the same car allegedly used in the massacre.

According to a Fox exclusive, Darrell Brooks told the court that his situation has made him feel “dehumanized.” Brooks told the reporters, “I just feel like I’m being monster — demonized.”

From Fox:

“Wearing a sleeveless green jail jumpsuit and his hair in braids, the soft-spoken accused killer offered no details about what prompted the carnage.

The Two Fox News reporters on the other side of the video screen marked the first visitors he’s seen since the Nov. 21 night of horror. Brooks appeared calm, lucid and took time to answer each question – even repeating reporters’ questions and answers at times.”

Darrell Brooks has been charged with six counts of intentional first-degree homicide among other charges and is being held on $5 million cash bail. Brooks, a registered sex offender, claimed in court to be very close to his mother, Dawn Woods, despite evidence showing his mother had not visited him since the massacre and only spoke to him for the first time briefly before his court appearance.

Dawn Brooks released a statement blaming Brooks’s actions on mental health issues and claimed that the state failed him. “Instead of offering help and resources to combat the problem, a jail cell was given. Over and over again. When mental illness is not properly treated, the person becomes sicker and sicker. It doesn’t go away once a person becomes an adult,” the statement read.

“We as a society must take mental illness seriously by fixing a broken system or suffer the consequences, sad as it is to say what happened in Waukesha will keep happening all over this country, in one form or another with more innocent lives lost and grieving families and communities,” wrote Woods.

During the exclusive interview with Fox, Brooks was informed of his mother’s statement blaming his mental health. After hearing about the statement, the report indicated Brooks, visibly shielded by corrections officers, became audibly upset with “the sound of what may have been sobbing rattl[ing] the receiver.”

  1. It’s always someone else’s fault. The system’s to blame because they didn’t treat him for his mental health when he repeatedly committed crimes. Sounds to me like mom has been making excuses for her son for way too long now. Why didn’t you get the boy help, ma?
