Justin Trudeau: Truckers and Supporters Are Taking Up Space and Should Not Be Tolerated

Radical leftist behavior keeps forcing Bill Maher into clarity. Conservatives often disagree with Maher, but he suffers from a peculiar affliction: Intellectually honesty.

The Post Millennial reported, Maher wasn’t having any of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s barbs fired at Freedom Convoy truckers and their supporters. Maher’s guest, Vivek Ramaswamy, had just said, “Authorities would do well to take a page from that [not a partisan issue, but of ordinary citizens] playbook and listen to these truckers.”

Maher said he had been a fan, thinking Trudeau was a “cool guy.” But, he added, “I started to read what he said.” Maher paraphrased, saying, “[Trudeau] said, but they take up space. …we have to make a choice… do we tolerate these people?”

Maher’s reaction was incendiary. “‘It’s like, tolerate them?’ ‘Now you do sound like Hitler….’”

He continued, “And recently [Trudeau] talked about them holding ‘unacceptable views.’” Add to this the PM’s previous rants calling protesters “racist and misogynists extremists…” and about every other ist, ism, and phobia. Maher said, “No, they’re not!”

What could Trudeau possibly mean by “they take up space” and “do we tolerate these people?” After de-humanizing folks who disagree with his political view, he has only so many options if he decides not to “tolerate” them.

His government can make it impossible for them to earn a living or conduct their daily lives. But he’s already done that with the CCP virus mandates, which provoked the protests.

He can imprison them or, if he’s feeling charitable, send them to re-education camps. Or, he could always do what despots do when good people finally just say, “no!” He could… Oh, wait. Canada doesn’t have capital punishment. What then? The world will soon see.

Now, Trudeau has claimed dictatorial powers, declaring an unprecedented, pretend, “state of emergency.” Maher will probably have something more to say about this deplorable act.

On a positive note: on Twitter, Canadian conservative, “People’s Party of Canada” leader Maxime Bernier called Trudeau a “fascist psychopath.” Apparently, like Maher, she doesn’t pull punches either.

  1. They are taking up as much space as they always have in THEIR country! They are all just doing it together now to stand against the dictator Trudeau!

  2. I truly hope the police move in and simply stand with the protestors. And if the military’s called in they do the same.
