Biden Travels Over 1M Miles on Amtrak, In His Mind

Last week the White House staff rolled President Biden out of the private residence to mark the 50th anniversary of the metal dinosaur, Amtrak. Speaking at the event, Biden told the crowd, “When I became Vice President, one of the Capitol Hill newspapers estimated that I had taken more than 7,000 round trips on Amtrak over my career. I think that’s an exaggeration. I’m going to rely on those two conductors … one of them was a guy named Angelo Negri.”

The stumbling leftist puppet President struggling to make sense continued to tale the wild tale, “There was an article, I guess my fourth or fifth year as vice president, saying Biden travels 1,300,000 miles on Air Force One [Two}. I used to -the Secret Service didn’t like it – but I used to like to take the train home.”

“My mom was sick, and I used to try to come home almost every weekend as vice president to see her. I got on the train, and Angelo Negri came up, and he goes, ‘Joey, baby,’ and he grabbed my cheek like he always did. I thought he was going to get shot. I’m serious. I said, ‘No, no, he’s a friend.”

Biden continued, “he said, ‘Joey, what’s the big deal? 1,300,000 miles on Air Force Two? Do you know how many miles you traveled on Amtrak?’ I said, ‘No, Angie, I don’t know.’ He gave me the calculation, and he said you traveled 1,500,000 miles on Amtrak. The fact is, I’d probably take Angie’s word before I’d take the word of what the article said.”

Fox reports that Biden’s Amtrak story is a total fabrication. It seems that Biden did not travel 1,500,000 miles on Amtrak. The report claims that “a few elements of [Biden’s] story seemed out of place.” For starters, “Biden entered the fourth year of his term as vice president around 2013” and guess what, Angelo Negri – who died in 2014 at 83 – retired from his work “as a conductor on the commuter rail passenger service for Amtrak Railroad for 39 years” in 1993.

Moreover, the report gives surprising details disproving Biden’s colorful anecdotes that not only did Negri retire “while Biden was still a senator,” but his mother wasn’t sick until the later 2000s. His mother, Catherine Eugenia Finnegan, died in 2010, four years before 83-year-old Angelo Negri died and seventeen years after Negri retired.

The legacy media has been silent on reporting this lie, as they are with most of Biden’s “tall-tales.” So I guess we will all as a nation keep pretending this man isn’t (A) a complete fraud that wouldn’t know how to tell the truth if it was written on the teleprompter for him to read or (B) suffering from rapidly advancing dementia. Or worse, both.
