Did Joe Biden Just Nullify “Inflation Reduction Act?”

Joe Biden: “Inflation Reduction Act” not working

TTR wonders, “What was the point of the Inflation Reduction Act,” if, as FOX News reported, “President Biden said during a press conference on Wednesday that he can’t ‘guarantee’ his administration will be able to get rid of the country’s inflation issue.”

The Act will cost American taxpayers $369 billion, much of it on so-called “climate change” and “renewable energy sources,” but was sold as an “inflation reducer,” which Biden is now de-facto rescinding.

Inflation Reduction Act

A reporter had asked Biden “what he can ‘promise concretely in these next two years that will help turn the pocketbook for the better in the midst of staving off a recession.’”

Biden then took credit for bringing “down the price of gasoline [he is responsible for raising] about a dollar a gallon across the board.” Many say this has partially resulted from his raiding the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and despite his slamming the brakes on American energy independence achieved under former President Donald Trump.

RNC Research tweeted, “Joe Biden, a few months after signing the so-called ‘Inflation Reduction Act’: ‘I can’t guarantee that we’re gonna be able to get rid of inflation.’”

According to CBS 2 Iowa, “Inflation has been sitting near record highs for months, but Biden has sought to pin the blame on former president Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin for the state of the economy.”

FOX also reported Biden again blamed the oil companies, saying they “are really doing the nation a real disservice.” A disservice the oil companies apparently weren’t doing under Trump.

Biden promised he won’t do anything differently over the next two years despite up to 88 percent of Americans believing he is on the “wrong track.”
