DeSantis Leads by Example Against Democrat Policy

Combined Shape

DeSantis has proven his leadership and ability to keep his promises on several occasions. After the release of COVID-19 vaccines, Governor Ron DeSantis signed an executive order protecting Florida’s senior citizens and vaccine administration. So far, over nine million Floridian’s have received at least one dose.

Shortly after, on March 9, 2021, Ron DeSantis signed the executive order for reemployment assistance and payment of employer contributions to revive the struggling economy after a year of lockdowns.

After reports of vaccine passports from the Biden administration, another executive order prohibited COVID-19 vaccine passports on April 2, 2021. Although official plans of a “passport” have not been released, corporations have used the idea as an incentive to end lockdowns.

In response to the rioting across the country in the wake of George Floyd’s death, DeSantis signed the Anti-Riot bill into law on April 29, 2021.

The Governor also signed the Right to Farm bill following overwhelming legislative Support. Florida farms have been a legacy business that has contributed billions of dollars to their economy.

Most recently, an executive order suspending all remaining local government mandates and restrictions based on the COVID-19 State of Emergency is in place. Despite criticism from the left, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, Florida recorded the lowest daily coronavirus case total since October.

DeSantis’ courageous action to solidify legislation that protects the freedom of Floridians should serve as a model for other states to follow. Florida has led the way in saving businesses and opening schools while also providing citizens easy accessibility to get vaccines if they want.

During his two-day appearance at CPAC, Governor DeSantis spoke on how Florida has been the key role model on how he plans to continue to fight against a tyrannical government.

“Florida got it right, and the lockdown states got it wrong,” DeSantis said during the conference at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

“We are an oasis of freedom in a nation that’s suffering in many parts of the country under the yoke of oppressive lockdowns.” He continues to comment, “Florida is also leading in protecting our people from political censorship and holding Big Tech accountable.” The empowering speech talks of plans to pass “the most ambitious reforms yet proposed for combating political censorship and de-platforming,” DeSantis said.

The potential 2024 presidential candidate has shown incredible courage by putting the needs and desires of his constituents first instead of kneeling to the absurd threats from the left.
